Chung Do Kwan Forms ...

Forms help the student to work on balance, coordination, speed, focus, power, multiple opponents, flow, and relaxation/tension. They are excellent learning tools, fun to do, and challenging to perform.

This is the first form (Hyung) learned at white belt level -- Tae Kuk Cho Dan -- or form #1 in the Tae Kuk series. Tae Kuk means "national flag". It is a very simple form using the basic "I" pattern as for most forms. Basically it is a series of down blocks (Ha-Dan Mah-Kee) and punches (Juhn-Jin) all done in a front stance (Jung-kul Sah Gee).
