Scholars Day
Thursday, March 22, 2012
Registration Deadline: March 14, 2012
Utah State University is pleased to host top scholars and showcase the endless academic opportunities and extraordinary campus life available at USU. Incoming freshmen Presidential, Dean's, and Aggie Scholars have an opportunity to interview for the Fellowship Scholarship, an additional $1,000 per year, and the privilege to work with a professor in their field of study beginning their freshmen year. They will also visit with current research fellows about their experiences.
Utah State University invests in Undergraduate Research Fellows because we believe that research—independent study and discovery—is a key component of an exceptional education experience. At USU, students engage in hands-on learning through research, scholarship, or creative activity at any point in their undergraduate careers.
Although USU makes research opportunities available to all students, Undergraduate Research Fellows receive special guidance to and through those activities from day one of their freshman year.
Please contact Admissions at 800.488.8108 if we can answer any questions for you.
