Important information and links:

  1. FERPA - Learn more about the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) including important information regarding privacy and your responsibility to maintain it.

  2. Advisor Handbook - Access the Advisor Handbook online, containing valuable information on USU policies, procedures, services and resources to assist you as you support students in accomplishing their personal, educational and career goals.

  3. Access or Self Service Banner (SSB) versus Internet Native Banner (INB) - Discover the uses and functions of each program, access INB codes and definitions, and find information on obtaining Banner access and training.

  4. Forms - Access a variety of registration (Add/Drop, Pass/Fail, Leave of Absence) and records (Change of Major, Repeated Courses, Academic Renewal) forms commonly utilized in advising students. Be sure to scroll down the page for form explanations and descriptions. Instructions are typically located on the forms themselves.   5. Resource Information - Find contact information for resources and services across campus that are commonly accessed by Academic Advisors and students.
