Alumni Scholarships
The Alumni Scholarship Program
Alumni Legacy Scholarships are in place to assist children and grandchildren of alumni who wish to attend Utah State University. Funds are raised each year through the following programs:
- Alumni Sustaining Membership
- Alumni License Plate Program
- Local Chapter Events and Scholarship Auctions
- Additional Individual Contributions - Click here to make a gift
- Select Alumni Association for "Choose one of the following:"
- Select Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund for "Make a Selection:"
- Specify the type and amount of gift
Thank you for your support! Since 2003, your Utah State Alumni Association has offered 391 scholarships for a total of over $653,3850 scholarship dollars.
Information for Scholarship Applicants
Alumni Scholarship
Deadline: February 1, 2013.
Alumni Scholarships awarded for 2013-2014 must be used in that academic year. Alumni scholarships will not be held for military service, ecclesiastical service, etc. Please apply for the scholarship the year you will be attending the university.
No transcripts are required for the Alumni Scholarship. Your GPA and ACT scores will be verified with the Office of Admissions at Utah State. Only students admitted to Utah State University will be offered an Alumni Scholarship. Apply for admission today!
The deadline for the 2013-2014 Alumni Scholarship has passed. Applications for 2014-2015 will be available September, 2013.

- J. Arza Adams Scholarship: The deadline for the 2013-2014 J. Arza Adams Scholarship has passed. Applications for 2014-2015 will be available September, 2013. - Graduates from Pleasant Grove High School, Utah may apply for this endowed scholarship.
- Nadine F. Gillmor Scholarship: The deadline for the 2013-2014 Nadine F. Gillmor Scholarship has passed. Applications for 2014-2015 will be available September, 2013. - Graduates from Summit County, Utah who are involved with 4-H may apply for this endowed scholarship.
- Reuben & Della Ward Scholarship: The deadline for the 2013-2014 Reuben & Della Ward Scholarship has passed. Applications for 2014-2015 will be available September, 2013. - Graduates from Raft River High School, Idaho and Declo High School, Idaho may apply for this endowed scholarship.
Deferment or Leave of Absence Requirements
If you decide to leave or withdraw from USU once enrolled, you must file for deferment or leave of absence.
Scholarships offered through the USU Alumni Association cannot be held or deferred. As Alumni Scholarships are 1 year awards, they must be used in the year they are awarded. Students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship in the year they will be attending USU. If a student is leaving USU and needs to defer a scholarship/acceptance offered through Admissions, please complete the USU Leave of Absence.
