Alumni Scholarships - Overview
Utah State University offers a variety of alumni scholarships. These scholarships are in place to assist the children and grandchildren of alumni who want to continue the legacy at Utah State. Funds for the scholarships are raised in a variety of ways, including private donations, earnings from endowments, and the Aggie License Plate program.
The following is a list of available scholarships. Applications, requirements, and deadlines for each scholarship vary. More information is available by clicking the link. Note: all the scholarships listed below (with the exception of the Alumni Legacy Nonresident Waiver) cannot be held or deferred. As Alumni Scholarships are 1 year awards, they must be used in the year they are awarded.
|Alumni Legacy Resident Scholarship||Available to incoming students whose parent or grandparent attended Utah State University.|
|Alumni Legacy Nonresident Waiver||Available to nonresident students whose parent or grandparent earned a degree from Utah State University. Deadline to apply, August 1.|
|USU Emeriti Sophomore Scholarship||Available to USU students who have achieved sophomore status and meet application requirements.|
|SAE Legacy Scholarship||Available to students whose parent or grandparent who were an active member of the Phi Kappa Iota / Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.|
|Chi Omega Legacy Scholarship||Available to students whose parent, grandparent, brother, or sister were active members of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega.|
|J. Arza Adams Scholarship||Available to students from Pleasant Grove High School (Utah) who demonstrates academic achievement, leadership, and financial need.|
|Nadine F. Gillmor Scholarship||Available to students enrolled in the Summit County 4-H program who demonstrates academic achievement, leadership, and financial need.|
|Reuben & Della Ward Scholarship||Available to students who attend Raft River or Declo High School (Idaho).|
