The USU Museum of Anthropology and USU's Anthropology Program offers two Museum Studies courses each academic year, along with a Museum Area Studies Certificate.
Introduction to Museum Studies (Anthro 5130 )
This course teaches about museum functions such as research, care, display, etc. Students have the interactive chance to learning about legal issues and write grants and funding.
Musem Development (Anthro 5800) & INTERNSHIPS
This course gives students the chance to do research, exhibit design, curration or cataloging. This course is one of the many was to intern at the Museum of Anthropology.
There are also many opportunities for all educational levels from high school students to senior scientists to participate and learn through internships and other academic appointments the Museum provides. We provide a diverse assortment of opportunities to participate and learn.
