Visiting as A Family

The Museum has developed a series of educational tours and supplemental materials for teachers and their students to families for all ages to help inspire curiosity, discovery and learning.

For families or other groups, tours are available for groups of 5 or more with one week advance notice. Tours usually last about 45 minutes and include a presentation by a docent, and then a Treasure Hunt or other hands-on activity. Trained USU undergraduate students volunteer as tour-guides.

1. All tours include hands-on activities and a discussion of what anthropology is.
2. Tours can be modified and customized to meet the needs of specific grade levels and lesson plans. Tours can also be for community groups .
