Tutor Advertiser


Using the Tutor Advertiser, a student can:

LOOK FOR a private tutor:

The Tutor Advertiser lists tutors by subject. Each tutor identifies his/her hourly rate and provides an email address so that a student can contact the tutor for more information or to schedule an appointment. Private tutors are not listed for all subjects.

LIST as a private tutor:

To be listed in the Tutor Advertiser, you must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as a student in good standing at Utah State University.
  • Received a B+ or better in the class(es) for which you want to tutor.
  • Taken the class(es) at USU or can document that you took an equivalent class(es) at another university.
  • Maintain an advertisement that has accurate and appropriate information

The Academic Resource Center will verify your courses and grades and will review your advertisement. When the verification is completed, your tutor listing will be activated. You may be contacted if there is additional information that is needed before you can be listed.
