The abstract is intended to give readers with diverse backgrounds a general appreciation of the manuscript’s content. It should be written so that those not directly involved with the topic can read at least this section to keep abreast of areas other than their own. The abstract should not exceed 200 words.

Review of Literature:

Authors should demonstrate an in depth investigation of current literature related to the manuscript’s content by a thorough review of literature with appropriately referenced citations. In order to convey the credibility and professionalism necessary, authors should survey current literature relevant to the topic. Manuscripts submitted without an appropriate review of literature or lacking sufficient current references will be returned to authors for completion.  In recent years, the most common assessment from reviewers is that manuscripts have inadequate literature reviews or that the references rely too heavily on non-refereed Internet sources.  There is no set number of references that is appropriate, but an average number of references might be 20 references for each 10 pages of double spaced manuscript length.

3. Indicate footnotes to the tables by lowercase superscript letters, beginning with "a" in each table.

4. Number figures consecutively according to their citation in the text.

5. Figures should be limited to the minimum number needed to clarify the text.

Referee Procedure:

The Journal will employ a two stage review process. All manuscripts will first receive a preliminary review by the editors to ensure appropriateness for the Journal. The second review will be a more detailed scrutiny by individuals who work in the subject area addressed in the paper.

The review process will be stringent. Manuscripts will be sent without author identification to referees who will review the information for accuracy, scientific merit, quality, format, clarity and status for publications.

In order to provide feedback to authors who submit manuscripts, all evaluations must have at least a brief explanation for why a reviewer ranks or rates a portion of the manuscript as acceptable or unacceptable.  All evaluations returned by reviewers without written explanations are submitted to an alternative reviewer.

Financing Peer-Reviewed Publications:

To finance the cost of preparing the Journal, there is a per page charge for publishing. Additional charges are assessed for each table, figure, diagram, etc. that appears in the Journal. The first author (contact) of each Journal article will be invoiced for these charges when Journal proofs are returned for corrections. Contact the managing editor for information on current page charges and estimates for publication costs.
