Description:
The purpose of Women in Science and Medicine is to help women at USU interested in pursuing careers in the science and medical fields reach their goals. The club is composed of women interested in a variety of different fields including research, dietetics, dentistry, psychology etc. We have designed a peer mentoring system that will help members throughout their undergraduate and prerequisite years. This includes advice on which class to take, studying tips, test prep, (such as for the MCAT, PCAT, GRE, or DAT), and advice on applying to schools. Our program also helps involve members with campus activities through services and interacting with other clubs to help build connections. Women in Science and Medicine is a great resource to all those pursuing a science related or medical education.
