Why Join Greek?

Think Greek

What is a Fraternity or Sorority?
At Utah State, Greeks means being involved in all aspects of the college experience. The Greek Community is a support system that will not only help you through college, but throughout life. Join with us and find fellowship, academic support, leadership opportunities, participation in campus activities, service to the community and to the University, and prepare yourself for the future. Think Greek!

Think Involvement

Becoming part of the Greek Community will help you discover opportunities to be involved with your individual chapter, Utah State University, and the Logan community. Your chapter sponsors various activities throughout the year including formals, alumni events, fundraisers, and several other social activities. We encourage all members to be involved with one or more campus organizations in addition to their fraternity or sorority to give them a healthy, well-rounded college experience.

Think Leadership

Greek organizations are governed by their student members. Students are encouraged to experience and provide leadership in many different areas, including human resource management, financial management and public relations. You will received hands-on training about how organizations run, along with valuable leadership skills to provide you with practical and transferable job skills.

Think Scholarship

Fraternity men and sorority women are college students first. We know you are here for an education and we stress academic success. There are academic standards for members and resources to help you achieve these standards. We are committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. Many chapters also offer scholarships on local and national levels.

Think Service

Greek involvement is based on service. The USU Greek Community spends thousands of hours dedicating their time, talents, and efforts to serve the other members of Cache Valley and the University. Whether raising money for a local charity, cleaning highways, or collecting food drive items, chapter members feel that service is an important part of the college experience and an important life-long obligation. Each chapter strives to provide regular service opportunities to all members.

Think Potential

The Greeks at Utah State University take pride in their diversity and value opportunities to meet and interact with students of all different backgrounds. Each unique personality adds to this fun and ambitious group. Joining the Greek Community at Utah State will help guide you to be successful as a college student and in the years to come. We look forward to your added strength and contribution.
