Program of Excellence
The program of Excellence Awards are a way to share activities being conducted by ATA chapters throughout the United States and to recognize those chapters who have done an outstanding job of organizing and conducting activities in the following categories: Professional Development, Fundraising, Community Service, and Fellowship.
Debate
The objective of the debate contest is to provide members of Collegiate Agricultural Education Organizations an opportunity to develop and demonstrate their ability to clearly communicate and defend their ideas and positions. This contest also provides members with an opportunity to develop and present strategies for addressing issues of concern in agricultural education through public debate.
Essay
The National Collegiate Agricultural Education Essay Contest is held in October of each year with participants developing their essays from a topic selected and sent by the host chapter. The essays are mailed to the host chapter prior to the National Conclave with the deadline for entry to be established by the host chapter.
Quiz Bowl
A team is composed of four undergraduates. There are three categories of questions in the contest: Technical Agriculture, Professional Education and Agricultural Education Organizations.
