Participating in an internship is a great way to get to know a company and the kind of work that they do. It also allows for you to get more experience in your field of study. Many flight and maintenance students at Utah State University participate in an internship during their Junior and Senior years. The regional partner of American Airlines, American Eagle flies to 159 destinations in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Founded in 1984, the airline calls itself the world's largest regional system. It operates from eight hub airports across the country. Erickson Air-Crane Currently looking for applicant(s) that have aircraft component overhaul experience. It is a plus if the applicant is familiar with the components on the S64 and/or CH54 model aircraft and specifically the following components: Main Gearbox, Main/Tail Rotor Head, Intermediate/Tall Gearbox, Turbine Engines, (P&W JT12 or JFTD12A). Fuel Components (FCU and Fuel Pumps), Main/Tail Rotor Blade repair, and Hydraulic Components and Landing Gear. Overhaul requires the ability to perform the following: disassembly, cleaning, detailed visual inspection, dimensional inspection, final assembly, and testing.
