About Us
The USU Ballroom Dance Company currently operates under the USU Campus Recreation Club Sport program. During the 2008-2009 year, the team consisted of nine men and eleven women who learned international style standard and latin dances. The USU Ballroom Dance Company has traditionally competed in competitions throughout Utah as well as in California and Nevada, and the 2009-10 presidency hopes to expand that list to include several nation-wide as well as international competitions. Our team has built a reputation for quality entertainment with such events as the Ballroom Bash, Dancing with the USU Stars, and an annual spring show. The team also performs for many private and community events as well as organizations and schools to generate interest in northern Utah for ballroom dancesport.
