BETA ALPHA PSI

BETA ALPHA PSI (BAP) is a national accounting honors society. The Delta Omega Chapter at Utah State University has a renowned tradition of excellence with BAP, which is demonstrated through having the nation’s longest succession of superior chapter awards at 31 years. Our primary focus as an organization is on service and professional development.

Being a member of BAP shows recruiters, from firms and industry, that you are at the top of your class and that you are able to effectively manage time between school and extracurricular activities.

Many BAP events put you in situations to meet and network with a wide variety of companies, which gives you an edge when the time comes to interview for internships and full-time employment. Important skills are developed such as; leadership, team-work, communication, time management, and professionalism. Finally, events are fun and provide opportunities to meet new people and make great friends.

Becoming a member of Beta Alpha Psi is challenging but very rewarding. Candidates are required to participate in numerous service activities and to attend many professional meetings, all while maintaining a high GPA.
