The Clothesline Project is a visual display of shirts with messages and illustrations that have been designed by women survivors of violence, by their friends or families. The purpose of this project is to increase awareness of the impact of violence against women, to celebrate a woman's strength to survive and to provide another avenue for her to courageously break the silence.

September 30 through December 20, 2008, "Eden Revisited: The Ceramic Art of Kurt Weiser" surveys Weiser's work from the 1970s to the present, offering a full view of his stylistic development. The exhibition includes 45 ceramic objects drawn from CRC's permanent collection, the artist's holdings and private and public collections nationwide. "Eden Revisited: The Ceramic Art of Kurt Weiser" is organized by the Arizona State University Art Museum Ceramics Research Center, Tempe, Ariz., and curated by Curator of Ceramics Peter Held. Support for this exhibition has been made possible by a grant from the Windgate Charitable Foundation.

The exhibition, entitled "Women's Work: Contemporary Women Printmakers from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and his family foundation," presents a broad range of prints from the past 35 years by some of the foremost contemporary women printmakers at work in the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. An opening reception and opportunity to meet collector Jordan D. Schnitzer will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. in the museum's upper gallery. Support for the exhibition and related educational and outreach programs has been made possible by a grant from the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation. On display in the museum's Upper Galleries.
