In association with Aggie Family Day, the Museum of Anthropology is holding its Jr. Archaeologist day! Guests will go through five stations to qualify to be a Jr. Archaeolgist. Stations include a mock dig, surveying and mapping, researching and artifact identification. Come and learn how to be an archaeologist at Aggie family day!

11:30 am - 5:00 pm Historic Homes Tour and Turn-of-the-Century Dinner

For the first time in 10 years, a historic homes tour and turn-of-the-century dinner will be held on Sept. 13. The event will begin with dinner at the Old Rock Church from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
In addition to the Old Rock Church, two homes in Providence (Adolph and Louisa Baer and Alma Morris and Sophia Mathews homes), one in River Heights (John Davis Home), and two in Logan (Marriner S. Eccles and Julia Budge Nibley homes) will be available for viewing from noon to 5 p.m. The event is presented by the Cache Valley Historical Society, Cache Valley Visitors Bureau and Temple Fork Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers. Dinner will feature typical Cache Valley turn-of-the-century fare, and famous Aggie ice cream. For more information, call the Visitors Bureau at 435-755-1890. Proceeds support a student scholarship at Utah State University.

USU Women's Volleyball next travels to Salt Lake City, to participate in the Utah Classic with three matches in two days. First match is Friday, Sept 12, 2008, with the USU @ Utah match beginning at 7:00 pm. The second match will be USU vs Purdue beginning at noon on Saturday, Sept 13, 2008, and the third match USU vs Saint Louis begins at 5:00 pm on Saturday. All times are MT.

Aggie parents and families are invited to spend a weekend at Utah State University! Parent and Family Weekend is scheduled for September 12-13, in conjunction with a home football game against the University of Utah and Aggie Family Day on the Quad. We have an exciting weekend planned, with events and activities in the community and on campus.
Be sure to join us for the annual Parent and Family Weekend Luncheon on Saturday, September 13. Advance registration for the luncheon is required, and must be submitted using the form available online at www.usu.edu/parents/weekend by September 5.
