For all those who are physically, mentally, and academically up for the challenge, we dare you to step up to
a higher level of performance in the first ever combined ACADEMIC and PHYSICAL triathlon. Whether you go as a team,or take on the feat solo, grab your goggles, bike and running shoes and join the race for the ultimate student challenge here at Utah State University. The race will begin Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, beginning at 9 a.m. until you and your team cross that line in a body and brain sweating, adrenaline pumping flurry. The order of legs for this event will be swim (300 m), bike (6 miles), and run (5k) beginning at the HPER pool, and continuing around campus for the biking and running events. REGISTRATION cost is $15 per team (includes t-shirt) and prizes will be awarded. Grab a team, create a name, and put your info on the roster in the HPER building or 3rd floor of ENGR building.

The USU Stampede Rodeo held at the Logan/Cache County Fairgrounds. Competitors from Utah and Idaho gather to compete in all the rodeo event from barrels and roping to bull riding. *Come help cheer on the USU Rodeo team consisting of around twenty members four of which made it to the College National Finals Rodeo last year!*

This will be one of the best hockey games of the year, I promise!!! USU is playing its biggest in-state rival, BYU, on Saturday Sept. 27, @ 7 p.m. in Eccles Ice Center (located in North Logan right behind Nate and Andy's Auto-Sales off Main Street on your right hand side). Tickets are sold at the door. HURD members: $3.

Recipient of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play, the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Best New Play, the 2005 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play and the 2005 New York Drama Critic's Circle Best Play. The play, presented by USU's Department of Theatre, is presented Sept 25-27 and Oct 1-4, 2008.
