Emeritus Professors RT Clark and Craig Law return to Utah State University to exhibit art work in the Tippetts Exhibit Hall, open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., free and open to the public. A reception is Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. in the Tippetts Exhibit Hall and is free and open to the public.

10:00 am - 5:00 pm    "Ideas: an Exhibition"

"Ideas" an exhibition is the result of a collaborative project between the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art and professor Rachel Middleman's art history class. The students explored the history and ideas of conceptual art while learning about specific pieces of conceptual art in the museum's collection. This resulted in a student-curated art exhibit, free and open to the public. The opening reception is Jan. 22 at 5 p.m.

Student Activities / Student Services

An annual celebration of Chinese Lunar Calender New Year, including 14 program shows by Chinese program students such as dancing, singing, drama show, and food-tasting. Event is FREE to public. Come and join us for a festival evening.

7:30 pm - 9:30 pm    Arts Week -- Grand Gala

Honoring the Caine College of the Arts' outstanding students, founders and accomplishments, the Grand Gala is the highlight of Arts Week. This year's program features multi-Grammy award-winning violinist and fiddler Mark O'Connor. O'Connor was voted musician of the year for six years in a row by the Country Music Association, has composed nine concertos and two symphonies, and authored a new violin method used by thousands of children. This year's Outstanding Seniors will be honored, featuring three students from each department in the college. This year's Outstanding Seniors from the Department of Theatre Arts are Timothy Roghaar, Liz Gabbitas and Julienne Bailey. The Department of Art & Design's students are Erin Buynak, Jonathan Christensen and Sarah King. Students honored in the Department of Music are Bridger Burt, Shaundra Cragun and Daniel Tate.

Come Watch the Utah Jazz take on the Los Angeles FAKERS Friday at 8:30 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center. We have already beaten them twice this year and can sweep the series with a win. Bring food to eat or just come hang out and watch the game in the Student Center 2nd floor in front of the big tv.
