Fair/Festival / Career Services

Each year Career Services and the School of Graduate Studies sponsor the Graduate School Fair. The Fair is held fall semester to help students apply on time for various graduate programs. Graduate programs from around the region, including representatives from other institutions around the nation attend. Even if graduate school is a few years away, the fair provides helpful information in planning and preparing for your graduate school experience. Utah State is working with other Utah Universities to hold a Graduate School Week to see dates and information on other schools, please visit the Utah Grad School Fairs website.

This workshop will focus on results from the IDEA rating system and address the following topics: 1)selection and communication of learning objectives; 2)sample size/response rate; 3)average score vs. converted average; 4)raw scores vs. adjusted scores; 5)IDEA use in summative evaluation and 6)using IDEA results to improve teaching practice.

Workshop / Student Affairs

Thoughts-Feelings-Behaviors -- This workshop will help participants increase their awareness of how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other and impact well-being. Skills related to effectively modifying thoughts, utilizing emotions, and choosing behaviors will be discussed and practiced.
