National Coming Out Day 2013, hosted by LIFE (Love Is For Everyone), USU’s Gay Straight Alliance, and The Access & Diversity Center takes place in the International and Sunburst Lounges on the 2nd floor of the TSC 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. Come by and make T-shirts ($3 per shirt), watch a film about the Coming Out Project, walk through the Coming Out Experience Display, and interact with information tables hosted by LIFE, Allies on Campus, PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), and Planned Parenthood. All students, staff and the general public are welcome.

Join CVCA in downtown Logan for the 2nd Friday Gallery Walks every even month (April 12, June 14, Aug 9, Oct 11, and Dec 13) from 6-9 pm. Inquiring minds of all ages are invited to the free presentation, "Watching Disease Happen: The Pathology of Air Pollution." Featured speaker is Roger Coulombe, professor in USU's Department of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences and director of USU's Toxicology Graduate Program. Following Coulombe's talk, Science Unwrapped attendees are invited to enjoy free refreshments and a variety of hands-on learning activities.
