Dear Students, Campus Recreation and Student Services invite you to attend "Architects on the Spot," a student-only meeting concerning the upcoming Student Recreation and Wellness Center, on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m. in the Taggart Student Center Auditorium, Room 227. The meeting presents the last opportunity for students to give significant feedback on what they believe the building’s interior and exterior should look like. Josh Greene and Matt Wallace from AJC Architects of Salt Lake City will be present to answer questions and to explain the design process so far. Matt and Josh want to make sure this will be the best facility students can have. They need to know the students’ opinion on what the architecture looks like, and how the indoor track and climbing wall will be designed.

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, come and learn about Money Psychology! How to trick yourself into being "smart with your money" and not fall for psychological financial traps. The workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the USU Taggart Student Center (bring a lunch and a friend) and then again in the evening from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Come listen to speaker Stephen Kroes, president of the Utah Foundation. The Utah Foundation has researched recent trends of economic mobility. Steve Kroes will discuss what groups are the most mobile, both up and down, what the trends look like now compared to what they looked like before the recession, and what factors may have affected this change. Do students graduating from Utah State have any hope?

This fall, the Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Ensembles are presenting their annual concert with a twist - this concert features the music of European composers and a light show. It starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Performance Hall.
