The American Festival Chorus presents itd annual "Christmas from the Ellen Eccles Theatre" concert Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m.; a matinee on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., and the last performance that evening at 7:30 p.m. This beloved Cache Valley tradition is a meaningful way to celebrate the joy of Christmas and begin the holiday season. AFCO is excited to announce acclaimed American soprano Alyson Cambridge as the guest artist for the 2013 Christmas concerts. Hailed by critics as “radiant, vocally assured, dramatically subtle and compelling, and artistically imaginative” (Washington Post) and noted for her “powerful, clear voice” (New York Times), Ms. Cambridge has sung on the leading opera and concert stages of the United States, including The Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Washington National Opera. She has also performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for Music and the Spoken Word.
