"Ideas" an exhibition is the result of a collaborative project between the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art and professor Rachel Middleman's art history class. The students explored the history and ideas of conceptual art while learning about specific pieces of conceptual art in the museum's collection. This resulted in a student-curated art exhibit, free and open to the public. The opening reception is Jan. 22 at 5 p.m.

Healthy Sexuality Workshop (2) -- In this series of workshops, you will explore what healthy sexuality means for YOU: both the physical and the emotional. Students are welcome to attend just one workshop, a few, or all of them. People from all backgrounds, experience levels, and belief systems are welcome: currently partnered or not, sexually active, waiting for marriage, doesn't matter. If you want to know more about intimacy, and more about your own wants, needs, or boundaries or if you want to learn more about effectively communicating those wants, needs and boundaries to potential sexual partner(s),this workshop is for you! There are 6 sessions: (1) Anatomy & The Sexual Response Cycle; (2) Safer Sex Practices; (3) Communication; (4) Sex & Emotion; (5) Getting to Know Your “Wants” and “Don’t Wants”; (6) Preventing Unwanted Experiences. The 2013 Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is making its annual stop to USU Feb. 14 and 15 in the TSC Ballroom at 7 p.m. both nights. An assortment of films will be shown focused around mountain and local-outdoor culture. Expect to see films about skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and unique-mountain characters! Don’t miss out on this two-night event open to USU students, faculty, staff and the public. Tickets are available at the TSC Card Office now! Prices: One Night - students, $5.50; public, $10. The Skyroom Restaurant will be transformed into a 1930s jazz nightclub for the 9th Annual Jazz Night at the Sky Club. Enjoy live Big Band music performed by USU Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble and jazz vocalists, along with performances by professor emeritus Larry Smith, who will rock the Sky Club to the unforgettable jazz tunes of Glenn Miller, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald and more. The dance floor will become a hot spot for the Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Charleston and more. Free swing dance lessons will be offered one hour before the event in the TSC International Lounge provided by the USU Big Band Swing Club. Jazz Night benefits the USU Larry Smith Jazz Scholarship and is a presented by USU Music Department. NO DINNER SERVED at the Student Dance.
