Due to a sidewalk reconstruction project by the university Facilities crew, the art museum will be closed to the public from May 6 to June 8, 2013. From cremations to burials at sea, each culture has its own traditions and beliefs surrounding the treatment of the dead. Please join us on Saturday, May 25, at the Museum of Anthropology for an illustrated lecture at 1 p.m., and enjoy guided docent talks throughout the day of our temporary exhibit on death and burial practices. Kids can mummify an apple after learning about the mummification process. The museum is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and admission is always FREE!

Climbing Wall Hours: Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. The Swaner EcoCenter indoor, wetland-themed climbing wall is open every Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Free for members, $5 per person for non-members. Open to all ages. We provide the climbing harness. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver.
