We have two sessions of swimming lessons beginning in a couple of weeks. We are doing two sessions at once to accommodate more swimmers' schedules. Sept. 30 begins our Monday/Wednesday session and Oct. 1 begins our Tuesday/Thursday session. All of our lessons are two days a week for four weeks. (Please make sure you are registering for either Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday) You can register on our website (Aquatics.usu.edu). Registration will open Sept. 16 at midnight for both upcoming sessions, and go until Sept. 30. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at Aquatics@usu.edu. Retired faculty member Adrian Van Suchtelen's work will be on display in the Tippetts Exhibit Hall, located in the Chase Fine Arts Center. Van Suchtelen taught in the Department of Art & Design from 1967 until 2003. A reception will be held on September 6 and is free and open to the public. The Tippetts Exhibit Hall is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The BRIDGES is a drop-in support group that is designed to provide a safe place for all multicultural and international students to share their thoughts and feelings with other students who may be having similar experiences. Students are free to discuss a variety of issues on campus or in society, such as: culture, race, ethnicity, identity,relationships, challenges, successes, etc. Staff from CAPS and the Access & Diversity Center lead discussions about topics that multicultural students bring up, and everyone can gain insight from and give support to their peers in a setting that is casual and confidential.

Utah State Athletics will host auditions for National Anthem singers for USU athletic events. Auditions will be Monday, Sept. 16, from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m.-noon in the Champ room on the third floor of the Spectrum.
