Join other alumni with Scott Barnes, vice president & athletics director, for a pregame party prior to the Sept. 7 USU vs Air Force football game at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. Party 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with kick-off at 1:30 p.m. Falcon Stadium pregame events begin at 12:30 p.m. Where: U.S. Air Force Academy tailgate area, Lot 2 near Falcon Stadium. Enjoy a full buffet lunch from Famous Dave’s Legendary Pit BBQ. $15 adults, $8 children 3-10, free for under 2. FREE Aggie knit beanies to the first 100 attendees! "In The Miller Mood"is a swinging 1940s style musical that captures the timeless sound and style of the big band era when Glenn Miller and other great Swing Bands made a significant contribution to the morale of the nation through music that lifted spirits, boosted patriotism and helped sell War Bonds in the the midst of WWII. The show takes you back in time to experience a toe-tapping, fun-filled evening featuring the lush harmonies of the Stardust Singers, Dancers and the Larry Smith Orchestra. Hit music includes In The Mood, Moonlight Serenade, String of Pearls and many others from the big band era. Performances nightly Sept. 3-7 in the USU Ballroom. Tickets available with or without dinner. All shows (except Sept. 3) feature entertainment after the show with singers and dancing.
