Exhibit / Provost Office

This selection of artwork from the museum's permanent collection embraces a diverse range of forms and showcases work by important women artists from the 1970s and 1980s. Much of the artwork displayed in the exhibit addresses issues of womanhood, femininity, and equality through experimentation in total abstraction, representations of the female body, and examples of pattern or decoration. Highlights include posters by the Guerilla Girls, an installation piece by Ilene Segalove, photography from the second wave of feminism, and abstract minimalism. Please note that the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art will be closed in observance of holidays on Nov. 28 & 29, Dec. 25, Jan. 1 & 20, 2014, and Feb. 17.
