Saturday Nature Walk -- 10-11:30 a.m. Join us on your Saturday morning for a nature walk on the Preserve! During the tour, you'll learn about wetland science, native plant and animal species, the history of the Swaner Preserve. These tours take place on the generally flat terrain of the Swaner wetlands and are appropriate to anyone who is relatively active. Please come prepared for the outdoor conditions, sturdy boots or shoes (close-toed) are recommended along with a water bottle. 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm    Aggie Ice Cream Tour

Special Event / Nutrition & Food Sciences

Aggie Ice Cream tours will consist of viewing a DVD on how Aggie Ice Cream is made and then a tour of the Dairy Production Plant for a total of 30 minutes. Cost is $4 per person which includes a scoop of Aggie Ice Cream. Tours are scheduled for noon, 1, 2, 3, & 4 p.m. start times.

Climbing Wall Hours -- Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. The Swaner EcoCenter indoor, wetland-themed climbing wall is open every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The climbing wall is open to most ages. We provide the climbing harness. Please wear closed toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver. Cost: $5 per climber or FREE for members!
