Black Mountain College: Shaping Craft + Design. This exhibition explores the impact of Black Mountain College on the fields of studio craft and design from the middle of the 20th century through today. Black Mountain College (1933-57) was an experimental liberal arts college located in rural North Carolina that still continues to be influential in visual, performing and literary arts. Exhibited works include ceramics, textiles, furniture, sculpture, paintings, printed material, and ephemera created by BMC students and faculty. 'Relational Forms: Robert Bliss & Anna Campbell Bliss' -- Relational Forms highlights furniture designed by Robert Bliss and the artwork of Anna Campbell Bliss, two of Utah’s most important creative minds. Residents of Salt Lake City since 1963, this is only the second time their work has been exhibited together. Beginning Sept. 1, NEHMA’s hours are as follows: Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In Honor of National Voter Registration Day we'll be holding a watch party watching a debate between Utah 1st Congressional District candidates Donna McAleer and Rob Bishop hosted by the Utah Debate Comission at Weber State University. Federal Judge and Aggie Alum Robert Shelby will be on campus for a fireside chat. Pizza, of course, will be provided. Judge Shelby is a district judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. He was appointed by President Obama and confirmed by the Senate in 2012.

In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a small roadside diner. All roads are blocked, and four or five weary travelers have to take refuge until morning. William Inge’s delightful comedy, Bus Stop, charms audiences with its sentimental characters and touching slice-of-life storyline.
