The Institute of Biological Engineering (IBE) and the USU Biological Engineering Department would like to invite students from all majors to participate in the upcoming IBE Intermountain Regional Conference on Nov 11th from 8 am - 5 pm. Lunch will be provided. There will be cash awards for winning poster, platform and idea presentations as well as awards for a scientific photo and t-shirt design competitions. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm    USU Turkey Trot 5k Run

The annual Turkey Trot 5k is open now for registration! The run is open to all USU students, faculty, staff and community members: $20/students and $25/faculty, staff, community and a kids race (free with adult registration or $5). 9am kids race, 9:30am 5k. Registration includes a race T-shirt and photos of the race. Participants are encouraged to dress up in a Thanksgiving themed costume. The fastest male and female runner will receive a trophy!

This is a seven-session program for undergraduate women who may not yet see themselves as leaders, but have a sense of their career goals and the contributions they want to make. The 2017/2018 sessions are currently filled, however applications will be accepted in April 2018 for the 2018/2019 program.

Join with AFC and the USU Symphony Orchestra for this patriotic musical tribute to our Defenders of Freedom -- U.S. military servicemen and women. As part of this moving and reverent homage, Colonel Jerry L. Nelson, USAF, Ret., a decorated veteran of Desert Storm and Vietnam, will speak about our U.S. troops and their sacrifices defending peace and freedom throughout the world.
