Dr. Lars P. Hansen, the David Rockeller Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago grew up in Logan and is an alumnus of USU, received the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. His lecture, titled "Uncertainty in Economics Analysis and the Economic Analysis of Uncertainty," will provide an interesting perspective on a topic of much importance in the formulation of public policy.

Luncheon/Dinner / Utah Public Radio (KUSU)

Dr. Zorba Paster, host of NPR's "Zorba Paster on Your Health," will mix and mingle with listeners at a St. Paddy's Dinner at Herm's Inn, 1435 Canyon Road, Logan. Dinner prepared by Chef Robyn Monk. Inquiring minds of all ages are invited to Science Unwrapped at USU, the public science outreach program of USU's College of Science. Featured March speaker is ornithologist Kimberly Sullivan, associate professor in USU's Department of Biology and the USU Ecology Center, who presents "A Bird's-Eye View of Science." Hands-on learning activities and refreshments follow Dr. Sullivan's talk. Admission is free.
