SATURDAY, APRIL 15 Merrill-Cazier Library, Lower Level Bookmaking Have you ever wanted to make your own handmade book? NEHMA and Library staff will provide demonstrations and assist participants with learning how to design their own handcrafted book. In order to take full advantage of this fun activity, participants should come to the event prepared with some of their own artwork or photographs to use during the workshop. These photos and works of art will be used in the bookmaking process, allowing each participant to take home their own unique book. While NEHMA is closed for construction, the Museum is working with USU and community partners to continue Family Art Days. The event on April 15th will be held in the lower level of Merrill-Cazier Library from 11am-2pm. Beginning May 20, Family Art Days and the Mobile Art Truck will move to the Cache Valley Gardeners’ Market.

Bookmaking Have you ever wanted to make your own book by hand? Join NEHMA and Merrill-Cazier Library staff for a workshop on basic handmade bookmaking. Bring your own artwork and photos, or learn some techniques for various styles of handmade books. While NEHMA is closed for construction, Family Art Days will be held at the Merrill-Cazier Library on USU campus. The event on April 15th will be in the lower level of the Library in Special Collections Fife Room from 11am-2pm.
