"Wind Uprising" of the Spanish Fork Wind Power Project

Panel Discussion/Presentation

"Wind Uprising" is a 30-minute short documentary, co-produced and co-written by Dr. Edwin Stafford, about the four-year struggle to establish the Spanish Fork Wind Power Project, Utah's first wind project in 2008. As part of the 10th anniversary of the project, serial entrepreneur and wind developer Mr. Tracy Livingston will talk about his experience spearheading the Spanish Fork project and career opportunities in renewable energy. Mr. Livingston is CEO of Wasatch Wind and NuLife Energy. "Wind Uprising" premiered at Utah State in 2010 and has screened hundreds of times across the country to inform citizens about what communities can expect when building nearby wind farms. The film has won three film festival awards. Marketing Professor Edwin Stafford will be hosting the event.
