In this exhibition, David Yarrow invites us to truly connect with subjects we only think we have seen before. Yarrow takes the familiar and makes it new again by creating images that deliberately connect with us on a highly emotional level. Wild Encounters offers a truly intimate view of some of the world's most compelling—and threatened—species, capturing the splendor and very soul of what remains wild and free in our world through portraits that feel close enough to touch.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an international men's march to stop rape, sexual assault & gender violence. This will be the 14th year the SAAVI office has hosted the event at Utah State.There will be two marches hosted throughout the event where individuals can put on a pair of heels to march a mile in her shoes. Please join us as we take a stand. Marches are held at 1145 & 1245.

This experiential workshop will help participants learn mindfulness skills for managing stress and living more fully in the present moment. Participants will be introduced to the concept of mindfulness, and a variety of activities related to mindfulness meditation, including the body scan, sitting meditation, and walking meditation.

Kaisa will give a presentation titled "Arsenic Release from Surface Soils Induced by Stormwater Bioretention", followed by Rosa's presentation titled "Application of WinSLAMM to Evaluate Stormwater Harvesting Potential in Northern Utah".

The year 1990 was a milestone for pianist Kevin Kenner whose artistry was recognized throughout the world by three prestigious awards: the top prize at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, the International Terrence Judd Award in London, and third prize at the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow. He had already won awards at the Van Cliburn International Competition and the Gina Bachauer International Competition. Kevin Kenner’s recordings are distributed internationally and include multiple discs of the works of Chopin as well as recordings of Ravel, Schumann, Beethoven, Piazzolla and Paderewski, the latter two having won special prizes. His CD “Chopin Resonances” was singled out by Gramophone Magazine as the Editor’s Choice and was nominated for the International Classical Music Awards in France. His latest recording, an album of the late works of Chopin, is due for release in 2018.
