The College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences Week is a great way to look into CAAS and see the many different degrees we have to offer. Each day during this week we will have special events to showcase our diversity amongst the college.

Eva Kwong Exhibition

Arts/Entertainment

Eva Kwong is known for her sensuous, colorful, large and small scale ceramic sculptures, vessels and installations inspired by her longtime interest in the organic forms and colors she sees in nature. Kwong’s glazes can range from subtle greens and browns to bright primary colors. Her thrown and hand built stoneware pieces are often provocative exploring the concept of opposites. Kwong is most well known for her ceramics but she has also made prints.

Social Power, Privilege and Difference Online Class

Workshop/Training

Are you frustrated because your voice isn't being heard or you are not being taken seriously? Please join the Center for Persons with Disabilities at USU for this exciting 8-week online class being offered August 5 through September 29 on Social Power, Privilege and Difference. The purpose of this class is to help you become more aware of your individual power and how you can use that power to advocate for yourself as well as others. Fee is $25. Faith Distress Support Group

Workshop/Training

This group is an opportunity for students to get together in a safe environment, learn from, and support each other. Each week, a discussion will be held of pertinent issues related to faith that create stress (e.g. having doubts or internal conflict finding spirituality, faith transitions, finding a place of belonging, talking to those of different faiths, etc.). Topics are motivated by participants each week.
The group is co-facilitated by Monique Frazier, a psychologist from USU Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and Bonnie Glass-Coffin, Anthropology professor and Director of the Interfaith Leadership Certificate Program.
