Social Power, Privilege and Difference Online Class


Are you frustrated because your voice isn't being heard or you are not being taken seriously? Please join the Center for Persons with Disabilities at USU for this exciting 8-week online class being offered August 5 through September 29 on Social Power, Privilege and Difference. The purpose of this class is to help you become more aware of your individual power and how you can use that power to advocate for yourself as well as others. Fee is $25. USU Emergency Preparedness and Finances Seminar


It's Emergency Preparedness Month! Come and join USU's Housing and Financial Counseling Specialists for a free community event where you will have an opportunity to learn about preparing for unexpected events that could impact your finances. This Emergency Preparedness class will not only go over the basics of creating an emergency plan for your family but give you some ideas about preparing your budget for an emergency. The class will be held at the North Logan City Library from 6:30-8:00pm on September 25th. Following an interactive presentation there will be time to answer emergency preparedness related or general financial questions as well as raffle drawings to win prizes that can help you get started.
