Who? USU students are mentoring high school students and serving the community.
When? Come to one of the high schools for the Kick-Off on Thursday, January 17th! The Kick-Off times at each of the 4 high schools are listed below. What? At the Kick-Off events, USU and high school students will be brainstorming and planning their service projects for the spring semester. They will celebrate and share their accomplishments to the public on April 18th in the TSC Ballroom at 5PM. The winning, most-impactful group project will win an $800 scholarship. Why? "Beloved Community" is a global vision where all people can share in the wealth of the earth. Through mentoring high schoolers and completing a service project throughout the spring, those in involved will exhibit "agape" love and will live out Dr. King's global vision. Location for 1/17: Sky View HS, Mountain Crest HS, Fast Forward HS= 3:30-4:30PM Logan HS= 4:30-5:30PM Location for 4/18: Ballroom
