Description
Join the ORP this Saturday [Feb. 23] on the Animal Tracks Snowshoe Hike. Learn about the different animal species living in our area while enjoying nature’s beauties. We’ll identify the different types of animal tracks and discuss their roles in the ecosystem. A knowledgeable and experienced tracker will lead the trip, so come prepared with questions. We’ll be ascending the Jardine-Juniper Trail up Logan Canyon starting at 10 a.m. The trip is free and open to students only. A pre-trip meeting will be held Friday, Feb. 22, at 5 p.m. in the ORP shop. We’ll cover details about the trip and answer any questions. Also, a 10 percent discount will be offered to participants on all rental gear for the hike.
