Description
Jerry O'Donnell, Public Information Officer from the Denver Regional Census Center of the U. S. Census Bureau, will present "Accessing Census Bureau Data for Community Analysis and Research." Target audience: faculty and staff who use data for research, teaching, institutional research, needs assessment, grant writing, and planning. Participants will have hands-on practice using the American Factfinder search tool to locate data from the 2010 Census and the American Community Survey. They will learn to find detailed, current socio-economic statistics covering every community in Utah, including social/economic characteristics such as educational attainment, income, occupation, poverty status, and nativity.
