Boren Award Application Workshop

Come to a Boren Award application workshop hosted by Katie Davidson, USU Study Abroad Advisor, in the Office of Global Engagement.

The Boren Awards are a prestigious scholarship and fellowship, focused in national security and language learning for study abroad programs at the undergraduate (scholarship) and graduate (fellowship) level.

Spring Festival Gala (Chinese New Year)

The USU Chinese Student and Scholar Association will host the Spring Festival Gala on Friday, January 24th in TSC Ballroom from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Please join us and enjoy Chinese Kungfu, Piano, Traditional Instrument, Dance, Singing, Games, Prizes, Raffle, & Dinner. Everyone is welcomed to come celebrate with us!

Study Abroad Fair

Fair/Festival

Find out where you can go and how to get there by visiting with faculty leaders and representatives from an array of third-party program providers like ISA, ISEP, CIEE, SAI, SIT, and Semester at Sea. Meet with study abroad and academic advisors. Learn about support and resources offered, like going abroad with a disability and scholarships for studying abroad.

Gilman Study Abroad Scholarship Workshop

Workshop/Training

If you are currently receiving a Pell Grant, then you are eligible to apply for the Gilman Scholarship for study abroad! Fall 2020, Academic Year 2020-2021, and Summer 2020 applications are due March 3, 2020.

Come to one of our advising sessions for Gilman Scholarship applications to get an overview of the scholarship,
plus tips for essay writing. If you would like feedback from an advisor on your essays, you are welcome to bring them.

The sessions will be held in Military Science 217 (upstairs). Feel free to come and go as needed during the workshops.
