Open Streets

Celebration/Fair/Festival

Open Streets is an event that Aggie Blue Bikes puts on to celebrate alternative forms of transportation and sustainability. We close down 700 North to demonstrate how vibrant and fun a street can be with no cars. There will be food, music, prizes, giveaways and vendors with activities. We will even have a rockwall and a little parade!

Special Event

The purpose of the Clothesline Project is to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness month. Through personal statements written on t- shirts appropriate to the size of the victim, the Clothesline Project explores the personal costs of domestic violence.

Dr. McNeill holds a PhD in Folklore. Her areas of research and publication include legend and belief, folk and fairy tales, the supernatural, and digital culture. Bring a sack lunch and come listen to Dr. McNeill speak about her research. Halloween cookies provided.
