Lunch with Latinx Leaders

The Latinx Cultural Center (LCC) is hosting a series of bring-your-own-lunch events that are designed to let the USU community get to know their Latinx faculty, administrators, and staff in a substantive way. Lunch with Latinx Leaders presentation is this Wednesday, February 13th from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm in Merrill-Cazier Library, Room 208 (drinks and light snacks will be provided, feel free to bring your lunch). The speaker for this event is Luis Rodriguez. He is the Multicultural Program Coordinator of Access and Diversity Center. Luis will be discussing his experiences of feeling “not good enough” to attend or even graduate college. He will discuss the experiences that have helped strengthen his sense of belonging. This event is open to one and all. We hope to see you there!

The Latinx Cultural Center is hosting a series of bring-your-own-lunch events that are designed to let the USU community get to know their Latinx faculty, administrators, and staff in a substantive way. This week's lunch, "Navigating Imposter Syndrome in the Land of Make Believe", is presented by Luis Rodriguez, Multicultural Program Coordinator of the Access and Diversity Center. Luis will be discussing his experiences of not feeling "good enough" to attend or graduate college and what helped strengthen his sense of belonging. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

President of the Latinx Student Union. Ketzel will be speaking about her journey as a student trying to navigate the higher education system and the adversity that she has to face as a Latina. The way in which she has pushed outside her comfort zone to help out her community. This event is open to one and all. We hope to see you there!
