Dr. Karen Lang “The Buddha’s Daughters: Women’s roles in Buddhism.” The CWG and Religious Studies are Cosponsoring a Brown Bag Lunch with Dr. Karen Lang. Dr. Lang is a Professor of Buddhist Studies and Indian Religions, as well as the Director of the Center of South Asian Studies at the University of Virginia. Bring a sack lunch and come listen to Dr. Lang speak about her research.

Clothesline Project

Special Event

The purpose of the Clothesline Project is to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness month. Through personal statements written on t- shirts appropriate to the size of the victim, the Clothesline Project explores the personal costs of domestic violence.
