Long-time career Planner and Lecturer will discuss how Planning and Landscape Architecture work together to create great communities of lasting value for all. Using real-world examples from various states, illustrations and explanations will be made as to how and why successes were created and some missteps made. Thoughts on the future outlook for this relationship will be related.
Girls in Aviation Day Logan-Cache Airport 2021
Special Event
Girls in Aviation Day is for all girls ages 8-18 who desire to learn about aviation. USU Women in Aviation Club will host the event and any USU students can come support at a booth.
Girls in Aviation Day
Fair/Festival
Girls in Aviation Day is intended to interest girls, ages 8 to 18, in aviation careers and is open to the daughters of all USU students, faculty, staff, and Alumni. Your girls will have an opportunity to visit over a dozen activities, including flying a helicopter simulator, actual drone, sit in aircraft, meet aviation professionals and other hands-on activities. A Girl Scout patch is available to be given out to scouts who take part in the day's activities.
Since WAI's first annual international Girls in Aviation Day in 2015, the annual WAI event has grown every year since its first gathering of 32 events and 3,200 participants. In 2019, GIAD met more than 20,000 attendees participating in 119 events in 18 countries.

Panel Discussion/Presentation
The education received as a landscape architect extends beyond what is needed to work at a design firm. Greg will share some of the insights learned of how the education of a landscape architect can be applied to other disciplines in shaping the built environment.

The College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences and the Department of Aviation Technology's Flight Team will be hosting a Country Western Stomp and Hangar Dance at the Logan/Cache Airport.

Fair/Festival
Come enjoy Utah beef, lamb, pork, turkey, dairy products, onion rings, corn, and salad after the USU vs. Boise State football game. Food is generously donated by Utah agricultural producers and proceeds go to College of Agriculture and Applied Science student scholarships through the Utah Agricultural Leadership Endowment. Join us for a delicious festival of Utah-sourced foods and spend a beautiful Cache Valley autumn afternoon with family and friends.

The USU Aviation Career Fair provides students a unique opportunity to connect with dozens of employers right here in Logan. Meet and talk with representatives from airlines and other aviation-related companies such as Alaska/Horizon, Republic, SkyWest, Envoy, United, and other aviation-related companies! Discuss your qualifications, find where jobs are opening, and learn what employers are looking for in the near future! This is a great networking opportunity even for students who aren't looking to graduate soon.
