Memories of War and Perceptions of Threat: Facing Asymmetric Warfare 100 Years after the Armistice

As part of the week-long celebrations for the anniversary of armistice, the Center for Women and Gender has teamed up with Briana Bowen from USU’s Center for Anticipatory Intelligence. The talk will explore how the armistice that brought a close to World War I in 1918 is remembered very differently in the United Kingdom and Western Europe than it is in the United States. Bring your sack lunch and join us for a journey about the divergence and suggests lessons the US might bear learning from the other side of the Atlantic. Coffee, Tea, and water provided
