Lunch & Learn - Preventing Injury in the Garden

Workshop/Training

USU Be Well and Extension professor, Gabi Murza, present a lunch and learn on tips to prevent injuries while gardening. Whether you garden for work or fun, you may have experienced aches and pains afterwards that went away quickly or persisted for some time. In this session, you’ll learn how to prevent injury and minimize pain/soreness by using best practices for gardening, practicing proper posture and use of tools, and incorporating stretches into your gardening routine. Even though it’s a virtual session, you’ll be encouraged to follow along with videos showing these movements, so wear comfortable shoes! *Presentation will be recorded.
