Sensory Test for Frankfurters

Special Event

NDFS is looking for participants to taste frankfurter samples. We will recruit approximately 120 participants older than 18 years old. Pregnant women, people with food allergies, vegetarians, and people with any religious or cultural restrictions on pork consumption will be excluded from the test. Participants will be compensated with an ice cream coupon and each participant can do the sensory analysis just one time. The test will be between 5 and 10 min long. Participants will be then asked to taste six samples of frankfurters and asked to score how much they liked or disliked it in terms of appearance, color, aroma, flavor, juiciness, texture, and overall acceptance. Frankfurters contain inulin, carrageenan, and soybean oil. Participants can withdraw the test at any time. When: August 15th anytime between 9 am and 5 pm (or until we have recruited 120 people) Where: NDFS Department - Where the Aggie Creamery is (Room NFS209)
