OLRC Stage Production - The Importance of Being Earnest

Thursday, Jul 02 - 7:30PM

'The Importance of Being Earnest,' is the OLRC's classic production for summer 2009. The play, by Oscar Wilde, is known around the world. OLRC's production employs the quirky and farcical tradition of casting one of the most famous characters of the English stage, Lady Bracknell, with a man. This perennial favorite of the British stage, dubbed "A Trivial Comedy for Serious People" by the author himself, has not been performed on the summer stage for more than 20 seasons. Presented at the historic Caine Lyric Theatre in downtown Logan, 28 W. Center Street and directed by USU theatre arts faculty member Lynda Linford.
