Many Aggies Honored During 2010 Philanthropy Day
Each November since 1999, outstanding philanthropists are honored at Utah Philanthropy Day. The Utah Society of Fund Raisers and the Utah Nonprofits Association celebrate outstanding philanthropists and volunteer leaders with a luncheon for the service they provide. Five prestigious awards honor the various components of the creative nonprofit organizations that respond to community concerns and the need for change. Scott Ulbricht, a USU Alum, was honored with one of these awards.
Scott was awarded the Norma Matheson Outstanding Volunteer Award for serving as the treasurer, secretary, and Chair of the board for The Children�s Center Board of Trustees for 19 years.
Other USU Alumni and Friends were awarded as Heart and Hands Honorees for their valuable service. The Heart and Hands Award honors people who make significant contributions to charitable causes throughout our community through his or her volunteer or philanthropic service.
